Scheduled & On-Demand Scraping
- We run automated scrapes of dispensary menus multiple times per day (or on demand), storing snapshots of product availability.
- This data is then indexed so your website can instantly respond to customer location queries.
Geocoding for Location-Based Searches
- Using reputable geocoding services (e.g., Nominatim, OpenCage), CannQuest pinpoints dispensary addresses—so customers can see which store is really the closest.
API Endpoints
- /api/dispensaries: Return a list of dispensaries carrying specific products, filtered by brand, strain, THC range, or more.
- /api/products: Fetch a global list of products across all integrated dispensaries.
- /api/full_json: Access the entire dataset (useful for advanced analytics or custom dashboards).
Security & Roles
- Admin keys can trigger scrapes, access historical archives, and manage scheduling.
- Private keys can view more data without the ability to run system commands.
- Public keys are perfect for front-end calls—just enough to return search results without exposing sensitive endpoints.
